Changes in Symposium Programming

By now you have seen a number of solicitations for auction consignments for the new public auction that will take place on Friday evening, September 20 during the Carder Steuben Symposium in Corning, NY. This is a great opportunity for you to consign some pieces from your collection. The deadline for submissions is July 15. Contact John Stranges at .

That is not all that's changing. Because the auction is moving to Friday evening, the Saturday evening banquet at Corning Inc. will include a raffle of donated items. Items will include glass, but also gift cards, lottery tickets, goodie baskets, books, tickets to an event, hotel nights, memberships or subscriptions, trips, dinners, etc. This will be a fundraising event for the Club - all raffle ticket sales go to the Club. Bill Mehlenbacher is collecting donations - so if you have something to donate, please contact Bill at .

Symposium materials will be in the mail by mid-July. Please look for them and make your plans to attend Symposium this year. We have a great program to share!
