Greetings!
I picked up an interesting Carder era Steuben Candlestick Shape# 7506. It's signed on the polished pontil with their later acid stamped Steuben signature.
What's interesting about it, is that it appears to have some type of fine crackle finish on it. It's only on the exterior of the glass, not in the base of the foot, not on the underside of the ruffled top nor inside the candle holder, just the exterior. I know Carder did a crackle finish, but I've never seen this fine crackle finish before, can you tell me anything about it? I've included some photos for reference.
Thank you!
Brian Severn
