Report from The Symposium

Beth Hylen, a reference and instruction librarian at the Rakow Library, provided an interesting story of the library's beginnings - from the 1950s with about 500 items through the 1972 flood an to today with some 840,000 items and growing.

ÿ Beth shared the history of some of the buildings on the CMOG campus, including the Library's namesake - the Rakows.

Mikki Smith, a reference and visitor services librarian, demonstrated Primo, a new online search assistant for searching the Library's digitized resources. .
